Ms. Angelina Kok 

Angelina graduated from University of Reading with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2012. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and was subsequently admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, she practiced in two leading law firms in Kuala Lumpur. Her fields of practice include general litigation, corporate and commercial litigation, banking & insolvency and family law.

Angelina has also assisted one of the contributing authors in the research and publication of “The Annotated Malaysian Companies Act 2016” as well as “The Annotated Malaysian Companies Act 2016, 2nd Edition” published by Thomson Reuters Malaysia (Sweet & Maxwell Asia) in 2017 and 2020 respectively. In addition, she also assisted one of the co-authors in the publication of “Company Law: Powers and Accountability (Second Edition)” published by Lexis Nexis Hong Kong in 2017.

 

Ms. Ooi Huie Theng

Huie Theng holds an L.L.B (Hons) degree from the University of London, which she obtained in 2017. In the following year, he obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) and began her pupillage in Yeo Chambers. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2019 and was retained as a Legal Associate.

Ms Ooi handles a variety of disputes, including cases of tort, general debt recovery, commercial disputes and other ad hoc matters. Besides, she is also involved in non-contentious advisory matters and assists the partner of the firm in professional indemnity cases.

 

Ms. Ericca Chai Juan Qi

Ericca graduated from Cardiff University in 2017. The following year, she obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice. She was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in November 2019.

The litigation matter that she handles includes disputes between contracting parties, disputes between shareholders and directors of companies, and recovery of debts. She also drafts and reviews employment contracts and collective agreement, and regularly advises clients on employment and industrial relations issues.

Ericca also assists a partner of the firm in relation to medical negligence cases.

 

Ms. Christie Liau Hui Min

Christie holds an LL.B (Hons) degree (First Class) from the University of West of England (UWE) in 2018. Upon obtaining her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2019, Christie commenced her pupillage under the tutelage of George Neo and was retained as a Legal Associate upon completion of her pupillage. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2020.

Christie handles a variety of disputes, including landlord-tenant disputes, tort, general debt recovery and land disputes. She also handles non-contentious advisory matters and assists the partner of the firm in professional indemnity cases.

 

Ms. Eng Sze May
 

May read law at Queen Mary University of London; and graduated with First Class Honours for her Bachelor of Law (LLB). In the following year, she completed the Bar Professional Training Course with an Outstanding, at City, University of London. Subsequently, May was called to the Bar of England and Wales, by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple. Then, she completed her Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law, at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). 

Upon returning to Malaysia, May commenced her pupillage in Yeo Chambers; and after completion of the same, she was retained as a Legal Associate. May was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2021. 

May has been assisting a partner of the firm, with the preparation of cases at the Court of Appeal and Federal Court. At the High Court level, she was also deeply involved in assisting with the preparation for trial, of a long on-going matter. May handles a variety of matters; including Family Law, Company Law and Land Acquisition.
